Change is afoot in Orchard Central! A Japanese French pâtisserie has opened up there and early in the day, their display cabinets were not fully stocked, so I tried a small cheesecake.
Eggy, sweet and light, like a soufflé, I enjoyed it. I like trying Japanese interpretations of Western dishes. It’s a window into what flavors and textures the Japanese like. Most American cheesecakes wouldn’t be so eggy, but I liked the egginess.
